A super-strong and ultra-light bolt handle for your Tikka M558, M590, M595, M658, M690 or M695. We sell the Carbon Fiber knob separately as well. The handles are CNC machined from grade 5 aerospace titanium alloy. Whether you are building the ultimate light-weight mountain rifle, or need to shave a precious few ounces off that competition benchrest rig, or like us, you simply want to use the best gear available then this is the ultimate bolt handle combo. We inspect each handle one-by-one to ensure each are completely free from any tooling marks, swirls, or post-machining blemishes, then test fit to a specially made dovetail gauge prior to packing.
Construction:
- Manufactured from Grade 5 Titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V)
- Weighs just under 1oz (28g)
- No tooling marks, machined finish
- CNC engraved lettering on dovetail specifying thread
- 5/16" x 24 TPI male thread to accept most bolt knobs
- Shank where stem meets knob = 0.452” diameter (11.5mm)
- Available in both left-handed and right-handed versions
Notes on Tikka factory tolerances
This part may not be a "drop-in" fit for your individual rifle. Some minor fitting may be required. There is a wide variation between rifles with the dimensions of the slot in the bolt-body that the bolt handle slides into. The angles of this 'dovetail' are rarely symmetrical which is what causes the fitment issues with some rifles. This is the case with all aftermarket handles machined to tighter specifications than the sloppy factory original. Variations like this are common with mass-produced factory rifles and are due to tool wear and/or cutter misalignment. In the majority of cases our handle will slot firmly into the bolt body, however in some instances minor filing or stoning of one or both angles of our handle will be required to see it fit snugly. If in doubt, take it to your gunsmith, or contact us and we'll be happy to walk you through how to correct the issue.
