Firing Pin
This is a high strength replacement for the Tikka T1x factory firing pin. We turn these from O1 tool steel, heat treat and quench the tips to 55 HRC, and then finish with a Titanium Nitride (TiN - gold color). These steps maximize the wear and corrosion resistance of this excellent high carbon steel. This is a useful spare part to keep on hand in case your firing pin breaks whilst out on the range.
Notes
- Fits both right-handed and left-handed rifles
- Fits both the factory chamberings of 22LR and 17HMR
Construction
- CNC turned from O1 tool steel (100MnCrW4)
- Firing pin tip core hardness of 55 HRC
- TiN coating surface hardness ranging between 2400 – 2600 Hv (>80 HRC)
- Weight = 0.12oz (3.42g)
